A momentous day for our group as we finally get to launch our website of Chewton Mendip Medieval Pottery Fabrics which has been years in the making.

The website offers the opportunity to view the medieval pottery from the Chewton Mendip Excavations, using high definition photography with accompanying descriptive text.

It is aimed at all those interested in medieval pottery, from locals who might find sherds in their gardens, school children studying the medieval period, through to professionals who may require information on pottery local to this area of the Mendip Hills.

We hope you find it easy to use and useful for your studies, or just passing interests.
